DAVE HUNT- Cheerleading Compeition Judge
Dave was born and raised in Iowa. He attended Iowa State University where he was a cheerleader and head cheerleader for 4 years. In 1978 he was named as an NCA All-American Cheerleader ranking as one of the top 10 college cheerleaders in the nation. Dave became an NCA instructor and taught both high school and college camps all over the country during his 13 year tenure. He is the author of NCA Partner Stunts and Pyramids. For the past 25 years, Dave has judged all levels of regional and national cheerleading competitions for companies such as Contest of Champions, NCA, Cheer Power, Cheer America, Cheersport, ACDC, Mardi Gras Spirit Events, America’s Best, and numerous other state and local competitions. Currently residing in Frisco, TX, Dave is the Dean of Students at the Shelton School in Dallas, TX. The Shelton School is the largest school in the world serving students with learning differences. He also facilitates classes for parents of ADHD children for the UT Southwestern Medical Center CAARTE research study. Dave is married to Davonne and is the proud father of two.
